Adam Springel, the firm’s founding and managing partner, has been practicing law since 1993. An experienced and successful civil litigator, Adam’s practice has focused primarily on high exposure lawsuits typically involving complex multi-party claims with significant risk transfer issues involving contractual indemnity and additional insured rights. These cases typically involve catastrophic losses, commercial and business litigation, construction and related insurance litigation, class action litigation, professional liability claims involving attorneys, accountants, architects and engineers, and the defense of significant personal injury and real estate disputes. Adam has also testified in court multiple times as an expert witness on issues involving legal malpractice, indemnification and attorney’s fee allocation and recovery disputes.

Adam received his law degree from the University of San Diego and his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan. He is admitted to the California and Nevada State Bars and is also licensed as a California real estate broker. Adam has been AV® Preeminent™ rated by Martindale Hubbell since shortly after founding the firm and can be found in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Adam is also a Certified Litigation Management Professional after completing the inaugural class given by the Litigation Management Institute at Columbia University School of Law.

Leonard T. Fink

Leonard Fink, one of the firm’s founding partners, has been practicing law for over twenty-five years and is licensed and handles cases in Nevada, California, Arizona and Idaho. Leonard represents a variety of clients in all types of civil and business-related litigation matters. He is a frequent speaker at MCLE events and a guest lecturer at UNLV. Leonard received his law degree from the University of San Diego and his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

For over twenty years, Darren Ebner, the partner in charge of Springel & Fink’s day-to-day California operations, has successfully defended clients in multi-party complex lawsuits involving construction defects, personal injuries, and other insurance defense matters. Darren prides himself on developing connections with his clients so he can provide them with the best customer service.

Darren received his law degree from Emory University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan. He is admitted to the California State Bar and admitted to all federal district courts in California. Darren is also a graduate of the Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law and is a Certified Litigation Management Professional as given by the Litigation Management Institute at Columbia University School of Law.

Holly is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Nevada office and has been practicing law for thirteen years. Her defense practice focuses on general insurance defense matters that often involve construction defects or bodily injuries. Holly received her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her undergraduate degree in philosophy from Southern Methodist University along with a minor in English. Holly is admitted to the Colorado State Bar and is awaiting admission to the Nevada State Bar.

Nakesha is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Nevada and Arizona offices. Her practice focuses on defending high exposure personal injury and products liability claims as well as construction defect lawsuits. Nakesha received her law degree from the University of Arkansas and her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, magna cum laude, from the University of Memphis. Nakesha is admitted to the Arizona, Nevada and Texas State Bars. Nakesha enjoys outdoor sports, such as ATV riding and rock climbing.

Carmen is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Nevada office and is admitted to the Nevada State Bar. Her defense practice focuses primarily on claims involving personal injuries and construction defects. Carmen has also represented individuals probate court. Carmen received her law degree from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida and her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a minor in English Literature from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  Carmen is admitted to the Nevada State Bar. In her free time, Carmen enjoys concerts, shows, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two dogs.

Thomas is an associate in the firm’s Newport Beach office and has been practicing law for over 25 years.  His practice areas include the defense of numerous construction and personal injury claims, business and commercial disputes, and class actions.  As a registered architect and attorney, Thomas also has invaluable experience representing architects and engineers against professional liability lawsuits.

 Thomas received his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.  He is admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court, Central District.  Thomas graduated on the Dean’s List from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Kayla received her law degree from the University of San Diego and her bachelor’s degree from UCLA.

During law school, Kayla clerked for a large internet-based corporation where she collaborated with outside counsel to defend lawsuits and respond to regulatory civil investigations. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert D. Monarch at the Superior Court Orange County.

David is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Nevada office and has been practicing law for over twenty years. He is licensed and practices in Nevada and Arizona and is also admitted in New York and New Jersey. David’s defense practice focuses on representing subcontractors and general contractors in construction defect and personal injury lawsuits and he also handles products liability and class action claims.

David received his law degree from the Hofstra University and his bachelor’s degree in psychology, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Stonybrook. He is an avid music fan and can often be found attending concerts of his favorite bands. He also spends quality time with his family and enjoy movies, bowling, roller-skating and bicycle riding.

Wendy is admitted to the Nevada State Bar and is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Nevada office. Wendy has extensive experience defending business and commercial disputes, including representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals against construction defect and personal injury claims. Wendy received her law degree, and bachelor’s degree in secondary education from UNLV. Prior to practicing law, Wendy spent 14-years as CFO and COO for a Las Vegas homebuilder. She continues to use her business and finance experience each day as the Firm’s Administrator.
