Adam received his law degree from the University of San Diego and his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan. He is admitted to the California and Nevada State Bars and is also licensed as a California real estate broker. Adam has been AV® Preeminent™ rated by Martindale Hubbell since shortly after founding the firm and can be found in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Adam is also a Certified Litigation Management Professional after completing the inaugural class given by the Litigation Management Institute at Columbia University School of Law.
Leonard T. Fink
Darren M. Ebner
Darren received his law degree from Emory University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan. He is admitted to the California State Bar and admitted to all federal district courts in California. Darren is also a graduate of the Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law and is a Certified Litigation Management Professional as given by the Litigation Management Institute at Columbia University School of Law.

Kate received her law degree from the University of San Francisco, School of Law and is admitted to the California State Bar. She graduated on the Dean’s List from the University of California at Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and political science with a minor in Spanish language and culture.
John E. Black
John, an Of Counsel member in Springel & Fink’s Newport Beach office, has been practicing law for over 20-years. John has extensive experience defending civil lawsuits, including construction defect, personal injury, and products and premises liability claims. John received his law degree from Willamette University in Oregon and his bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara. John is admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court, Central District.

Grace is an associate in the firm’s Newport Beach Office. Grace’s past practice areas have included litigating medical malpractice, personal injuries, and premises liability cases. Currently, her primary focus is on defending complex and construction defect defense lawsuits. Grace received her law degree from Chapman University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from UCLA. She is admitted to the California State Bar. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Scott Clarkson with the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Joshua D. Allton
Josh is an associate in the firm’s Newport Beach Office. Josh’s practice is focused on defending personal injury and construction defect lawsuits. He received his law degree from Chapman School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from California State University Dominguez Hills. While in law school, Josh gained valuable litigation experience competing on his school’s Mock Trial Team. Josh also clerked in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Josh is admitted to the California State Bar.
Michael A. Arata
Michael is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Nevada office. Michael’s practice focuses on defending complex civil lawsuits involving business and commercial disputes involving title insurance, class actions, product liability, construction and personal injuries. Michael received his law degree, cum laude, from the Valparaiso University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University. He is admitted to the Nevada State Bar. Michael enjoys cooking and is a craft beer enthusiast. An avid sports fan, Mike devotedly supports his beloved San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants.

Kayla is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Newport Beach office and is admitted to the California State Bar. Her defense practice focuses primarily lawsuits involving construction defects, personal injuries, and products liability. Kayla received her law degree from the University of San Diego and her bachelor’s degree from UCLA.
During law school, Kayla clerked for a large internet-based corporation where she collaborated with outside counsel to defend lawsuits and respond to regulatory civil investigations. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert D. Monarch at the Superior Court Orange County.
Jamie C. Lee
Jamie is an associate in Springel & Fink’s Newport Beach office and is admitted to the California State Bar. Jamie’s practice focuses on defending personal injury claims. Jamie received her law degree from Southwestern School of Law and her undergraduate degree in psychology from UCLA. During law school, Jamie served as a judicial extern to United States Bankruptcy Judge Alan M. Ahart. Jamie wrote about Cross-Border Insolvency during law school while working as a staff editor for the Southwestern School of Law International Law Journal.
David S. Schopick
David received his law degree from the Hofstra University and his bachelor’s degree in psychology, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Stonybrook. He is an avid music fan and can often be found attending concerts of his favorite bands. He also spends quality time with his family and enjoy movies, bowling, roller-skating and bicycle riding.
